A New Pledge of Allegiance

New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME) Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore, because the word 'God' is mentioned....

A kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer: Now I sit me down in school Where praying is against the rule For this great nation under God Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green, That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy' our Senior King. It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take!

It is ironic, isn't it? I just wanted to give you a shout out as a frequent visitor who is thinking about membership. You have an amazing church. However, a comment you said during your "lipstick" sermon didn't sit well with me. You compared the fall of the U.S. with Rome, and said it was god removing his covering. But wasn't Rome Christian under Constantine on its way down? And weren't they worshiping pagan gods at their height? Also, aren't there more tangible reasons for the U.S. decline such as the billions spent in Irag and the deregulation that has caused banks to fail and houses to foreclose? Interested in you comments.

This is great. I want to share a story with you that involves my 11 year old son Jordan. At the beginning of the school year that teacher had the students do a me collage. 10 life changing things. Jordan had being baptized on his. At the end of his presenting this to the class a student asked what being baptized meant. Here is Jordan's answer. When you go under the water it represents when Christ died for us. When you come up out of the water it represents Christ rising from the Grave to be with God. His teacher was very impressed with his answer. Some more seeds are planted at a public school for Jesus Christ.

Thanks Dudley for all you do,

On the way up the radio dial to kkla a song caught my ear. It was a female singer "I kissed a girl today, nothing wrong with it, etc etc. I wasn't shocked but scared. I was very concerned about the young female teen listening to those lyrics and thinking maybe she should try it. Praise God SOTH has strong children/teen ministries. Let's please continue to support our children's ministries and tithe~ ThankGod2.

IF WE DON'T STAND FOR SOMETHING WE WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING........The question is what are people falling for and why are Christian men hiding in a hole, WE NEED TO START STANDING FOR WHAT WE BELIEVE, NO MATTER THE COST..... WE SIMPLY HAVE BECOME TO COMFORTABLE....

Sadly the Liberals make themselves heard. They are not afraid to stand up and shout, scream, protest, march, etc to push their agenda. Why is it that Christians quietly shrug our shoulders and say "That is terrible" complain to each other and then do nothing more? I'm thinking we need to be as obnoxious as the Liberals...
